Adventures with out Daddy

So, Justin left me to go to Europe for 10 days. We miss him a lot already (He left on Saturday morning) But I decided that since I am playing single mom, and having to figure out how to do some things that I usually leave to him as "guy stuff" like changing broken light bulbs, unclogging toliets, ironing, and taking out the trash- that I was also going to figure out some computer stuff that I have been avoiding. So here I am on my blog again (finally) I even downloaded the pictures from the camera MYSELF (this is big for me). Anyway, here is a little of what we have been up to the last few days without daddy...
Saturday Brandon played all day with all the neighborhood boys- at OUR house. Needless to say we had a bit of craziness and messes, including a broken light in Brandon's room, by the end of the day. I decided to get a babysitter and go to dinner with Lynne Marie for a break. Sunday Brandon woke me up announcing that it was Christmas- I was worried what might make him think this- then he told me it was snowing outside! He was VERY excited! He and Brienna had lots of fun shoveling the deck off for me (what big helpers!) And then I attempted taking the two of them to church by my self. After arriving late, Brandon discovered that he had left his church bag at home, and broke into tears, so we went home, got the bag and returned. Later to discover that when Brandon had packed his own church bag he decided to bring along the grasshopper he had caught with his friends the day before (I was very pleased about this as you can imagine!?) He is such a boy!!!!!!!!!! After church we played, and the kids helped themselves to a popcicle (don't they look cute) Anyway, this is getting long. I just thought I would share a few of our adventures. I am surviving better then I thought I would- but I am exciting for Justin to come home!!! Only 8 1/2 days to go...

Brienna is 2!

Our little Brienna is now 2 years old. Here are a few pictures that show a bit of her true personality. We have a lot of fun and end up giving them both a lot of baths.

She Really is a princess. She loves dressing up and twirling around. She also has decided that she needs to have a purse with her 24/7. We can't believe how much she is growing up. She is such a sweetheart and we love her very much.

SMILE!

Here are a couple more pictures from our trip to Chuck E. Cheese. I think the one of Brienna is halarious because she just wandered over to the booth, put in her token and smiled. She is so smart and funny. She loves to have her picture taken and will always give me a big "cheese" whenever I have the camera out. What a cutie! I really don't know where her and Brandon get it! ? :)

You can never have too much fun!

It's been all play around the Wallis house this week. First are shome pictures of the kids "getting clean" in the bath. Brandon used an entire can of spray soap in the tub, and the kids ended up a bigger mess then before the bath (notice the brownish water- yuck).
Then, Monday we had Brandon's official potty training party at Chuck E. Cheese. He sure LOVES that place! We invited the Caldwell family, Aunt Julie, Lynne Marie and John, and Andrew and Tara. Andrew and Tara, by the way, just got engaged on February 29th. We are sooooooooo excited! She is such a fun sweet girl. She is also Tiffany Caldwell's younger sister. So Justin has decided that he will finally be related to his best friend, Justin Caldwell. (Yes, our friends, the Caldwell's, names are Justin and Tiffany also:)). Anyway, they are getting married on June 13, the only sad part is they will be leaving for medical school in August :( Okay, so we had a great time at Chuck E. Cheese. Brandon always tries to play the games that are too big for him, and puts his tokens in any slot- so we have to keep a close eye on him.
There are also some pictures of the kids favorite game- "tackle daddy". They sure love to wrestle! I am glad they have such a wonderful daddy who loves to play with them and have so much fun (I think this is actually Justin's favorite game too:))
Finally, there is a shot of Brienna trying to potty train herself by putting on Brandon's spiderman underwear and his pants. She gets so excited when he goes potty and is always saying she needs to go too. I can't wait until she actaully "goes" in the potty instead of just sitting on it. At any rate, it should be easier than with Brandon(knock on wood).
Tonight we have ward basketball, Friday Justin has a winter scout camp- Brandon has a birthday party and I am hoping Kristen will come to visit again. So, it looks like our fun week isn't over yet!!!

Crazy kids, crazy life!

Okay, so I know it has been forever since I last posted to our blog. What can I say, it just isn't my thing. Most likely no one will ever see this post because everyone has given up on even checking our blog by now. However, I felt maybe it was time to do a quick update. So here are some pictures of our craziness. As you can see my kids have perfected the art of making messes. What usually happens is one of them will make a small mess in another room. Then, while I am distracted cleaning that mess, they will make an even bigger mess - usually in the kitchen- and this continues throughout the day. At some point I give up on cleaning them up right away and take a picture just in case someone dares ask me what I did today!!!!
The other thing that has been constant around here is the SNOW! At first we had fun sledding and palying- now I am just tired of shoveling!! A couple weeks ago church was even cancelled because of the huge amount of snow. Last Wednesday Justin and I had plans for Valentines (we were supposed to go dancing- fun!) but it ook him 6 hours just to get home... because of snow! I say, enough! I am ready for spring!!!!!!!!
Other than cleaning messes and snow we have stayed busy getting Brandon potty trained (FINALLY) Being sick, preschool, primary, a quick trip to Vernal, and playing. Kristen brought her boys and out, and we had tons of fun playing (friends are always welcome here) and Justin just called back into Young Mens- so I am available to play every Tuesday night and probably every weekend during the summer campout months:)
Okay, I know that I hate when people go on an on in their blogs. So I will be done. OH WAIT, I almost forgot to explain the picture of me. I dyed my hair darker right before Christmas, It has been lots of fun! Okay, have a great day!
