Finally on facebook

I decided to finally join facebook- according to my family I am the last person on earth to do so. In which case I hope all of you will link me as a friend (since if I haven't already, I don't know how) I am hoping that I will be able to keep up to date on that a little easier than on my blog (which you know hasn't been the top of my list) wish me luck!

What's up?...

Things have been a little crazy here at the Wallis home. When Caleb was 3 weeks old he went to the hospital with RSV :( After a few days he was able to come home (yeah!!!) but for a while after that we just seemed to be one sickness after another. Thankfully that calmed down, and we were able to focus on ... Justin's Graduation!!!!
I am seriously so proud of him, and thankful that he is finished! He amazes me with his creativity and work ethic. There are really no words to describe how exciting it is to be starting the next chapter in our lives. I have NO DOUBT that Justin will do great things (he always has). He is happy to be working full time with FFKR- a big Architecture firm in SLC.
And finally that same weekend we were lucky enough to also have Caleb's baby blessing (on Mother's Day even- what could be a better gift than that?) So many of our wonderful family members were able to celebrate with us! And it was very fun to get some pictures with Caleb and some of his new cousins. The one above is Caleb and Korver (my sister Jacquelyn's baby who is just 4 weeks older) FUN!

Just when you had given up...

Don't get too excited... this is a lame post with no pictures! But I was tired of being at the bottom of everybody's recent post lists, and so I am just adding a little note on our blog to say that we are still alive (although barely somedays). We have been having computer issues for quite some time now (which makes me love them even more- grrrrrrr) but hopefully all will be well soon????????? We are all just trying to survive until next week when we have the baby (probably Wed) Yes, I am having a baby- sorry this is the first post about it:) I have been trying to get a millions things finished- and Brandon and Brienna have been promptly making a lot more work to do. They also love to pretend that they are babies (isn't that supposed to happen AFTER the baby comes?)
Anyway, pretty much I am just a crazy pregnant lady who gets emotional about everything from my kids decorating my house with food coloring:(, to seeing the tulips poop up in the yard :) But I am sure by my next post I will have some pictures of an adorable little boy- and hopefully some good stories about how it all went.
PS. If anyone has a good boy name- we are still on the hunt, and time is running out- so please feel free to help me out!

Adventures with out Daddy

So, Justin left me to go to Europe for 10 days. We miss him a lot already (He left on Saturday morning) But I decided that since I am playing single mom, and having to figure out how to do some things that I usually leave to him as "guy stuff" like changing broken light bulbs, unclogging toliets, ironing, and taking out the trash- that I was also going to figure out some computer stuff that I have been avoiding. So here I am on my blog again (finally) I even downloaded the pictures from the camera MYSELF (this is big for me). Anyway, here is a little of what we have been up to the last few days without daddy...
Saturday Brandon played all day with all the neighborhood boys- at OUR house. Needless to say we had a bit of craziness and messes, including a broken light in Brandon's room, by the end of the day. I decided to get a babysitter and go to dinner with Lynne Marie for a break. Sunday Brandon woke me up announcing that it was Christmas- I was worried what might make him think this- then he told me it was snowing outside! He was VERY excited! He and Brienna had lots of fun shoveling the deck off for me (what big helpers!) And then I attempted taking the two of them to church by my self. After arriving late, Brandon discovered that he had left his church bag at home, and broke into tears, so we went home, got the bag and returned. Later to discover that when Brandon had packed his own church bag he decided to bring along the grasshopper he had caught with his friends the day before (I was very pleased about this as you can imagine!?) He is such a boy!!!!!!!!!! After church we played, and the kids helped themselves to a popcicle (don't they look cute) Anyway, this is getting long. I just thought I would share a few of our adventures. I am surviving better then I thought I would- but I am exciting for Justin to come home!!! Only 8 1/2 days to go...

Brienna is 2!

Our little Brienna is now 2 years old. Here are a few pictures that show a bit of her true personality. We have a lot of fun and end up giving them both a lot of baths.

She Really is a princess. She loves dressing up and twirling around. She also has decided that she needs to have a purse with her 24/7. We can't believe how much she is growing up. She is such a sweetheart and we love her very much.

SMILE!

Here are a couple more pictures from our trip to Chuck E. Cheese. I think the one of Brienna is halarious because she just wandered over to the booth, put in her token and smiled. She is so smart and funny. She loves to have her picture taken and will always give me a big "cheese" whenever I have the camera out. What a cutie! I really don't know where her and Brandon get it! ? :)
